ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES

  1. Schedule a school tour, meet with the Administrator, and request a preliminary application package.

  2. Return preliminary application to school office and schedule on-site diagnostic testing.

  3. School board will review the application and test results, then decide whether to move ahead. Should the application for enrollment be denied, family will be notified by mail.

  4. Upon a positive decision, the family will be contacted for a second Interview to discuss diagnostic testing results, individualized curriculum prescription, and further processing.

  5. Family will fill out the complete enrollment package, including financial agreement, as well as other required affirmations. Should a family fail to complete all agreements, the application will not be processed any further.

  6. Family must submit a Pastoral Recommendation Form before process can be completed.

  7. Once all enrollment requirements, including payment of fees, have been met, the prescribed curriculum for the student will be ordered.

  8. Parents will attend the Parent Training Seminar. At least one parent must attend. This training seminar will inform parents of the specifics of our program and how they may best help their student to succeed.​

Heritage Academy Lions admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic

origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made

available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color,

national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, scholarship

and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

ADMISSION POLICY

Heritage Academy Lions is a Christian education institution. Each applicant is carefully

evaluated on moral character, personal integrity, church involvement, academic records,

diagnostic testing, and the approved completion of the enrollment package. Students

are expected to actively attend a local church on a regular basis and parental support

and involvement is expected. Success is only achieved through the combined efforts

of the student, teachers, parents, and their church.  Heritage Academy does not have the resources to meet the needs of students with excessive learning challenges or extensive socialization issues.  A probation period may be required and a re-evaluation may be given periodically. Heritage Academy reserves the right to deny full admission to any student

who either actively resists or does not fully comply with all school policies.
